Priscilla Queen of the Desert premiered in Sydney in 2006, adapted from the 1994 film of the same name. It went on to tour internationally, opening in London in 2009 and Broadway in 2011. The show won the Olivier Award for Best Costume Design, thanks to its extravagant and colourful outfits.
